Coaching vs Medical Care
What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?
DPC is a simple, relationship-based approach to healthcare. Instead of copays and per-visit charges, you pay a flat monthly fee for direct access to your doctor.
Is this concierge medicine?
No. Concierge practices still bill insurance and charge extra fees. DPC does not bill insurance at all—your membership covers your primary care.
Is this insurance?
No. DPC is a membership model. You should keep insurance for hospital care and specialists.
Is group coaching included?
At this time, all coaching and medical services are delivered individually. Group programs may be introduced in the future but are not part of current memberships.
Can I benefit even if I rarely go to the doctor?
Yes. DPC focuses on prevention, wellness, and easy access—so questions and concerns can be addressed early, often avoiding urgent care or ER visits.
Access & Communication
Do you offer virtual visits or messaging?
Yes. Secure messaging, virtual visits, and follow-ups are included in your membership.
How do I communicate with my doctor?
Members may communicate through scheduled visits and secure messaging during practice hours. Messaging is intended for medical questions, follow-up clarification, and care coordination. Response times are typically within one to two business days.
Can I message anytime or after hours?
Secure messaging is available during practice hours. Messages sent outside business hours are reviewed on the next business day. This model is designed for proactive, non-emergency care and does not replace urgent or emergency services.
Visits & Scheduling
Do visits cost extra?
No. All visits are covered in your monthly membership.
How long are appointments?
Visit length varies based on clinical needs and the nature of the visit. Appointments are intentionally longer than traditional primary care visits to allow for meaningful discussion, planning, and follow-up.
Other Concerns
How does the enrollment fee work?
Covers onboarding, lifestyle assessment, and initial planning.
What if I decide to leave?
Memberships may be chosen month-to-month. You may cancel according to your agreement. Re-enrollment is subject to availability and applicable fees.
Does this replace urgent care or emergency services?
No. This practice provides primary and preventive care. Members are instructed to use urgent care or emergency services when appropriate.
